Waived Fees
All fees associated with my vawa filing were waived, without request for a waiver, and a check was returned to me. Not complaining about it and I know it’s a great thing, however I’m curious what are the likely reasons for this waiver.

what all fees were waived, and have you filed I-485 concurrently and paid for that?

@Kan Zulu did you get your receipt when they sent back to say they destroyed your check? I sent a G-1450 for they sent to tell me no payment needed but I didn't get any receipt

@Kan Zulu if your application went in after April 1st then VAWA and all cases relating to the I-360 such as the I-485, I-131 and I-765 are all free that is why the check was sent back to you
