Waiting for SSN
It's been 10 days since I got my Work Authorization EAD and I'm still waiting for my Social Security Number, I can't get in contact with the Social Security Office because they never answer the phone, should I go to the office and ask?

I called social security office they said no Ssn was ordered for me I ask them for an appointment they took my information and said they will call or text me my date it’s been 2 days no call or text. I will call them back.

@Latoya c it's the same thing I'm facing they just took my info and said I'll get a call one week time for an appointment.

keep calling until someone takes your call, same happened to me when I finally got an appointment from them but before my appointment date my SSN came in the mail

Hello yes! I made an appointment with the Social Security Office thru the phone and got it after a week
