you can’t get an extension letter without applying for a renewal, you have to apply for a renewal, it is the receipt of that renewal sent to you by USCIS after receiving your renewal application that serves as a 540 day extension. good luck

I don’t think you can renew vawa EAD (C31). You have to file i485 and EAD (C09)

mine will expire next month and my lawyer sent the renewal by mail bc she said it can not be done online. I haven’t received a receipt for it yet.. how did you guys renew and how long it took you to receive the receipt number? did you receive your combo card?

@Aries I I got confused with your title, it says vawa EAD, that’s c31 and i485 EAD is c09. I know people always mix it up but it’s quite different.
