honestly it varies a lot, but I would say give it at least 4-6 months. It could be less or
more. This office is very unpredictable!

For those waiting for so long is it the CO9 category? Also my status shows fingerprints taken,does any one know how long it takes from that update. I am desperate for an EAD right now, I need a job to cater for myself and child.

@Mikky - I believe a lot of us are c09.
For example my receipt date and pd is January 20, 2022, prima facie dated February 24, 2022, biometrics was done on April 11, 2022… I’ve been waiting 9 months so far.
I read a few days ago the processing time was 10 months now.
It is very random though. Some people get approved a day after doing their biometrics and some wait more than a year. It’s so hard to estimate.
