Hi everyone ,i filed vawa 7 months ago i noticed that my lawyer didnt send my i-131 today i asked her to file it for me.because my dad is sick i havent seen him for 14 years and i’d like to go see him.
she told me on top of the money i already gave her,i have to give her an extra $875 am i supposed to give her extra money for that? .is there any other way i can send it without her? she clearly knows im not working since i dont have my EAD yet.

you can file it yourself it’s very easy just print off the form read it over and over before you filled it out look over it again before sending it off

damn these money grabbers.. form i131 is the easiest of all. why don't you do it yourself? attach receipts from previous filings. If you are not sure you can watch you tube videos on how to do it.

i didnt put my home adress when i filed,i asked her to put her office adress because i didnt want my ex husband to throw my stuff away.am i gonna have to still put their office address on it?
and she stated that the form is $575 is it true?

if I was you I would apply using your lawyers address because that's your legit address and track it online. your lawyer can't throw away your stuff ..

I131 is free. you shouldn't pay her again after the first pay. just use her address, when your document comes, she can't throw it away.

Greetings all. i just filed my case and spouse is looking to annul marriage. i am fighting it and hearing is coming up. Without work rn, my options to fight legally are next to none.
has anyone had a vawa case approved after marriage was annuled?
