@filler 2022 denied case. my I485 was denied . so I need a good lawyer to start the fight

i485 got denied after Vawa approval? what’s the reason for the denial

@mc mc hmmmm it’s a funny and unusual one. so I got an RFE in Feb to provide proof of citizenship( birth certificate and valid US passport) for my abuser of which I did not have and I responded to them with the evidence of my approved i360 meaning this must have been confirmed by them before my i360 was approved. I also explained in a letter why I was not able to access and asked they do the verification from their own database since this was already verified. I thought I was cool till last Monday when I got a denial alert and subsequently got the letter on Thursday. I’m so confused and distraught by this, so that’s why I need a good lawyer that would work with me to fight this.

@Awesome God 🙌 when you responded the RFE, did you provide detail info about your EX to USCIS, so they could do a internal verification? I am just shocked they asked you this information even with your approved VAWA 360, and it should be verified already before VAWA approval

@J J i stated his name and place of birth and attached my approved i360 notice. Did not know any other details they would have needed for this verification. I’m thinking they are doing all this on purpose to frustrate us. I just need someone to help me with a good lawyer so I can start this fight before it’s too late. And also vawa was approved at VSC my i485 is now being processed at the field office.

You on on the wrong leg here ....this current shift in immigration enforcement these people dont care they want you the beneficiary of a pending petition to put in the work from you received the RFE you shoulf of hired a lawyer to respond and not on your own with this administration.
