Unsure on forms
I130 was sent back in July. do we wait for I130 to be approved before we submit I485 or do we submit that before hand? a little lost.

when u feel lost try to consult a lawyer because nobody knows about your case and every case is different and most people will just jump into the comments section to give u false advise then you’ll be more confuse and might end up getting yourself in trouble. it happened to me and now I’m paying the price * just saying *

Google "Concurrent Filing of I-485", and check if the conditions apply to your case.

I am a spouse of a US citizen, we are both in the UK currently but he needs to get back to US soon for work and we of course don’t want to be apart!

@cazza I believe only people already inside the US are eligible for concurrent filing. to make sure, you can check the USCIS website for eligible categories of applicants
