been out of status since 2019. got my AP in nov 2021. went to my country July 15th came back August 20th. No question. the only problem I had was the airline. They rejected me boarding United connect with Lufthansa. I was told to get a transit visa to fly with them because im using AP and they will be having a stop over in Germany. so I went back to United and they said with AP I can only fly with direct flights and flight that won’t be stopping in European countries. so I rebook United to come back. at the port. they only asked for the note that came with my card and my name. nothing else, not even what did u go for.

google says: DO NOT travel abroad if someone had accrued more than 180 days of unlawful presence in the United States prior to their filing of I-485 applications even if they have an Advance Parole. In practice, they can re-enter the United States with the Advance Parole. But their departure from the United States will trigger a 3- year or 10-year inadmissible bar to United States, and accordingly, their I-485 application for adjustment of status will eventually get denied by the USCIS unless specified waiver is granted for such inadmissibility. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to get a waiver.

I used it for 1month and 2 weeks vacation though @kenny. both emergency and vacation, once u are out u are out.

i have i-130 under review and an approved tps. i will be applying for Ap soon. hope i get approved and will travel too.
