Travel with pending 485 and stamped H1
My 485 is pending and I am on H1B with a stamped visa on my passport.
I need to travel to Canada this month for an emergency.
Do I need to apply for emergency AP or can I just travel?

Hello Bala, if have a valid L1 or H1 visa then you don’t need AP for travel.

you can travel with stamped H1b as long as you resume your job with the same employer.

@bala s You do not need AP. If you have valid H1 stamped, you can travel.. I have travelled multiple times with my H1 before getting GC while 485 was pending.. So, nothing to worry

i just travelled on h1b on pending i 485 and without approval notice. no problem with h1b as its dual intent
