travel inside US
Hello!
I have a pending I-485 application. My combo card is now expired and I am still waiting on the renewal. Is it safe to travel inside the US, or to the US territories? I would like to travel to Puerto Rico for a week.

I went to US Virgin Islands in January (old administration) and they have asked for advance parole on the way back. USVI and PR are territories, not states so obviously traveling with ID only might not work. PR should be a bit easier

i travelled to USVI last year and came back in with drivers license. of course uts safe to travel withing the country. you might want to tread carefully for US territories tho
