they usually approve that for a year or two I believe, mine was 2 years

ideal is not to use more than 6 months out of the country. but my advice is u can go for a month come back and go back. don’t over use the opportunity.

it always depending on your immigration case, there’s not really a time limit, but staying too long can affect your current application,you can stay outside of the country with a travel document however long you want by taking into consideration the expired date. but in general there is always a time limit you can be outside of the country unless if you are a USA citizen.

my visa expired in 2016 but was in status so went on APand travel documents and stayed in home country for 6 weeks and came back to USA without any issues, thanks to god!!
