if you are an America, citizen you are filing for your wife right? i130 is to show USCIS that you entered your marriage in a good faith. USCIS approved i130 because they believed that your marriage is legit so you still need to file i485 that is why the pain is .

some of us almost ended up in hospital with depression but this is a wonderful group of people who helped each other very much

nope you can only apply i485 is she is presently in the US. In her case now she will apply for non immigrant visa as they call it.
