@Will R mandamus outcomes really differ, I have heard some people getting response from uscis 3-6 months but mine was quick which took still around 1 month. in general they will respond you after WOM 60 days. once I sent it in around 20th days they approved it without interview. one thing that I can suggest to make sure that you prepare WOM professionally, using a good lawyer would help. I think you can do it your self as pro se but you would still need a lawyer touch on WOM. that is what I did.
