Submitting DS 260
Question about DS-260
When it's time for us to fill out the DS 260 and submit the civil documents, when should we go get the Police certificate ? Is this something we can do now while waiting for our I 130 to be approved or do we need to wait ? She is in Thailand and would need to put in a request for this and could take 30 days to process.
Thank you in advance for the advice, just trying to stay ahead of the game. Lol

My husband got his clearance 1-2 months before i submitted our ds 260

honestly i think it has like a expiration time in the 🇩🇴 its like 30 days so i had to get my husbands pc like a couple of days before doing the ds260

once nvc gets your petition they will tell you when to complete the ds260. until your i130 is approved there's nothing to do but wait.

yea consular outside US, your PD is July so you should be getting approval if you haven’t gotten RFE by now you should be alright and I had added more pictures to the unsolicited evidence too, don’t know if that helped us we got approved exactly 1 year

@Marcus Boeckel Did you get approval yet? My wife is also in Thailand. We got our approval today. PD June 21, 2023.

Nothing yet for us, our PD is July 3rd,2023 Texas Service center.
Keep in touch with the rest of your journey. Very interested in the NVC process and how long it takes for an interview and when you guys are completed.

@Marcus Boeckel How long do I have to wait after submitting the documents? After submitting the DS-260 form, is it a long wait?
