submission of i130 in July 2023
Hi everyone, I have a question. My husband lives in DR and I submitted i130 in July 2023 and I’m seeing everyone else has more than one form submitted. Was I supposed to do another form? what is the i485 for? was I supposed to do that one too?

El I485 es para los que hacen ajuste de estatus, osea, que estan dentro de USA.

did you submit I-130a as well?

@Paola Quezada if he lives in DR you only file the I130. I only did the I130 because my husband is in Honduras and thankfully I am able to live there with him. The I485 is for people living in the States.

@Paola Quezada yeah those of us with stand alone I130s are just waiting for the NVC stage where all the rest happens. looks like your close!
