stuck at NBC for over 7 months..
Is anyone else in the same boat as me?
My priority date is June 2023, I submitted my 485 in October 2025, and completed biometrics in November. Since then, I haven’t received any updates — no field office transfer, nothing...
I saw a silent update on 4/28, but it seems like most people received that around the same time, and there’s been no movement since.
It seems like most cases have been transferred to the field office at least, even if they haven’t reached approval yet, which makes the waiting even more concerning.
Has anyone been in a similar situation and could offer any advice or insight? My attorney says there’s nothing to do but wait, but waiting without any sense of a timeline is incredibly stressful…

My PD is Jun 2023, filled aos in october 2025. current since Feb 2026 and my last update was in January 10: Case is being actively reviewed (I485J was approved). No updates since then and still at NBC.
Contacted Emma 2 weeks ago and was said interview was waived but still waiting for “reviews”

PD Nov 22 ROW - I was transferred from Texas to NBC after 7 month. I was stuck in NBC for 2 years before they moved me to field office
