status changed after 8 years
hello, my families asylum case has been pending for 8 years. we filed in 2017 and after the status on my case was “next step: interview” since 2023, this morning it changed go “application pending” any idea of what that could mean? my case starts with a ZLA and it’s in the LA office.

nothing…sometimes it changes for no reason, but that is another status that doesn’t mean anything…

update: it changed back to “‘next step is an in person interview” lol

Same thing happened to me and now it’s back to “Next Step is an interview”. I got worried as well lol
