it takes about a week to get your ssn some cases take 2 weeks.

if you don't get it in 2wks you can go and apply for it at the ssn office, that's what I had to do to get mine. when I went to the ssn office they told me I already have a number bt uscis didn't send it out so they jus re issue it.

My advice is to go to the SSN office right away and apply , if you have one already they'll let you know, if not they'll file a new application. I got my EAD and waited 3 weeks and didn't receive SSN card till I went to the office and applied for a new one, got it one week after.
