i received work permit and same or next day social security card

I wonder if a person gets to keep the same social security that initially received with the work permit once they get the green card… you know when you get Work permit you’ll also get a social security that states “for work authorization”

yes my ssn says for work only. i am not sure but i think i will keep this number even after receiving greencard…

@Richards s you only get one SSN they will only remove the work only restriction once you get your greencard.
