ssn is free… if you requested for it on your application they’ll automatically sent it in your mail box but if not you have to take your green card to the SSA office to go apply for it

I don’t think my lawyers requested it, it didn’t come in the package.

your ss will come separate with your green card

yes it ask on one of the forms you fill out if you want a SSN or no

@Paige K , I came to America August 7 with a k1 visa but i made the fingerprints with my Daughter 01/24/2022 and then April 6 they send my daughter employment authorization and after that they don't advise me about nothing .... it's hard for me cause i can't work and doing nothing etc...

I don’t think she did. but I’m going to SSN office tomorrow. I just wanted to be prepared if I needed money to apply.

@cali no they don’t charge fees at the SSA office.. only at dmv if you want to get a license or ID

can I start applyinf for any jobs or do I need to wait on the ssn card 🤔

you have to have your social security card to apply for jobs they usually ask for it first ..

@cali you can start applying for jobs your ssn card will come before you even get called for a job interview. ssn card takes 7-10 days to get delivered.
