congrats N Lora. seems super fast if u got approval on 11th and card on hand by 15th. did your status online change anytime between 11th and today? just wondering…..like, card mailed, tracking etc or it simply says case approved, and then u got the card?

that’s how long it usually takes like 4-5 days from approval you get the card in mail after it says card is being produced

@SS G: Thanks 😊. On 11th got the update “Card is being produced” and on 13th got another update “Card was produced” then today got the message “Card was delivered to me”. these were the updates I got on and after 11th Jan

also yes you have to replace the EAD. if it’s not your fault you have to write a letter explaining why you need a new one and send back the original EAD also send passport biographic and birth certificate for real name. you should get it back in a couple months but the validity dates will remain the same

sometimes faster could be 30 days you have to look at the bottom left of your approval notice and send it back there and it even tells you on the approval notice where to send hope this helps

actually,got my card but didn’t get the approval notice yet. but I can see that notice in my online account.

yeah just open that and send your packet back to the service center address on the Bottom Left of the approval notice

good write your receipt number on the packet and write “Incorrect EAD”

don’t forget to photocopy the EAD so you can get your SSN and Job application started also, print out your job approval

oh should I apply for SSN ? I thought I gonna get it after the EAD since I applied for SSN in EAD application itself

you gotta apply if you’re trying to work on your EAD. SSN is needed for work so you can collect your social security

N Lora, I see this problem in my name on the online account. They put 3 letters between the first name and the last name. I didn't understand that?

hey N Lora, have the same issue! may i ask how did you solve this? i called uscis and they gave me a reference number, im trying to solve this issue before i receive my ead. what happened with your case?

in case, I got three reference number for this.. but they didn’t respond after that… now I need to send this card back for correction
