Sometimes forms can be so confusing
So im in the process of gather things together. Just when i thought i had it all figured out. I came across this piece of info from the USCIS site: ( the site can be helpful and overwhelming)
need to file a Form I-130 for your spouse. Once you file the Form I-130, you can file a Form I-129F to make your spouse eligible to apply for a K-3 nonimmigrant visa. The K-3 visa will allow your spouse to come to the U.S. while the immigrant visa petition is pending.
Has anyone done this process, like this? If so please share.

I filed my I-130 in March 2020 and when I saw that this form was taking so long to approve I filed the I-129f for k-3 visa this Feb 2021. hopefully this gets approved soon. I’m tired of waiting for my I-130 case to be approved waiting more than a year now.

I'm doing exactly that but you can send both forms together, if you send separate it will take longer
