yes, it takes couple of months for tge identity to be verified using SSN, the furst thing to do is add it to ur bank account so when the bank report to the credit beareaus, the will associate ur info and ur address to ur SSN

how long took you to get ur SSN, i received my work permit 5days ago and still waiting for my SSN???

Did you apply for the SSN or did you receive it in the mail after your EAD?

from my own experience u don’t need to apply for the SSN. it will come few day after the EAD and parole.

@maurico its been 11 days since i got my EAD, noting yet abt ssn,even tried to get an appointment they said they will call me back but no call

give it a few more days. I think it’s about 7 to 10 working days. if after then u djj on Ny get it. u can call ssn and book for appointment

i tried to book appointment but they are like we will call you and make you an appointment but they never called me

my ead came no SSN I called ask them if a ssn was order for me they said no I ask for appointment they take my info and said they will call. they call me 5 days after have me my appointment date and time and location don’t sit and wait

i tried 3 times and they got my info but they never called me,so talked to my lawyer,she sad let’s wait will Monday if no ssn then she will send through usps my original documents for ordering SSN,it sucksss

my ssn came 2 and a half weeks after my EAD

mine never came,finally after 2 weeks of trying for an appointment,i booked it for coming Tuesday..
