aug 17 uscis update in the site case was approved. august 21 approval letter arrived in mail. aug 24 combo card received in mail. then i dont know the next step if i’ll just wait for the ssn in mail? or should i go to ssn office to request? i check the box in for i765 for while filing if i want to be issued ssn

You will get it in a month. we got for my son. It took a month after EAD Approval.

I am still waiting for my ssn too. I went to their office and i was told to call in order to make appointment with them. I was asked to call back in 2weeks or in a month's time.

jose i’ve waited for 2 weeks for my ssn to arrived, but it didn’t, so i called their office and set up an appointment, went the next day, and they created my profile and gemerated a new ssn. I received the ssn today.
