Service Centre codes
Hey everyone, as you all know each receipt number has a 3 letter “code” at the beginning, this means which service center is processing your case, i.e CSC… is for the California Service Center, VSC… if for the Vermont Center, etc. It caught my attention that mine was IOE, I looked it up and it’s for electronically filed cases, which u did not do. Also, in my form I-797C the service center is California, so I’m just curious if this has happened to anyone else and what it could possibly mean? Will it take longer?

@PD December 2022 they seem to scan all the applications nowadays and upload it in their systems… so only way for you to know which service it is, is to check your receipt at the bottom of it.

@PD December 2022 mine are IOE except for the I131 it's MSC which means they don't process it electronically, so I can't see my history tab or documents. If it says IOE, that means they're processing it electronically, no matter how you applied.

@PD December 2022, both my i 131 and i485 are IOE and my renewal for my EAD is LIN. I submitted my application 08/30/2019

@PD December 2022, when u checked my progress it says 2 months to decision. can check your progress in uscis website when you login.

I got my approval today
