I am from Texas. I went to dmv on Feb 25, 2022. same thing save verification. I check it online here at https://save.uscis.gov/CaseCheck/SearchCases.aspx it shows completed and please visit dmv. but no letter in my mail box. I went back to April 15. she show me her system and her system says it is still pending but online it is still showing completed and please return back to dmv. So I guess there system’s screen and this save thing I check from this website is different. she told me next time please visit dmv only after you got mail from DHS. without that, don’t come up there. I went to New Mexico and made a license which is valid to drive all over. but from May 2023, you can’t fly and can’t enter to federal building with that ID. but you can drive anywhere and still license will be valid. my DL expired on Feb 21,2022 and I went there on April 25, 2022 to make the license so that at least I can drive without any fear.

@Pablo I guess we can go to another state get a DL or does that mean one has to change the car plate or register ones vehicle for the state you are getting your DL

@Blessing Colin No you don’t have to change. just need two address proof. I have for both of my bank statements and my passport. I change my address to one of my fren who live in Albuquerque NM. I print the statement from both bank and I took it there and make the NM DL. I had done the same thing in Jan 2016 coz my DL was expired and I did change it to Texas after I got my EAD on June 2016.

thank you guys, i will try DE which close to me, but i am already scared as i lost a month and now i am not sure when they will be done with Save verification, too frustrated,

what kind of case do you have and any EAD?

I was able to get an id/dl in PA with 485 receipt for a pending family adjustment case, original completed biometrics notice and an EAD (of course a proof of address). They gave me the docs on the spot valid until the last day of the ead. By the new rules if you have an ead (or renewal receipt notice with 180 days extension, they should read give you the dl/ID for at least that amount of time. I went to Center city Philly 8&Arch

thanks Jully, yes i agree, but we dont have EAD and it all began there, even with receipts they should have given us that, but no, now they sent request to dhs to validate my F1 status which is expired already, i am very sure because lady at dmv was printing all my old docs. pathetic,
