RFIE I-944 Cancellation Update
For those who got RFIE I-944 that were due after the March 15 cancellation of the form, has anyone gotten communication or update to your case saying it’s not longer needed and next steps?
What have you done in place of sending the I-944, to keep the case moving along if anything?

i received on RFE I944 on March 15th. To make sure if i have to still submitted i asked a lawyer and she told me they no longer need it. She told just to leave it like that unless they asked for another form send it. But if they only ask you for I944 just leave it like, they know.

my lawyer said the same thing, my due date for response was on march 13th

what a mess this was. we got the RFE in feb answered it had to get loads of stuff done for it translations academic equivalencies for my wife, 500 dollars in out of pocket expenses in total + lawyer fees only for them to then say it’s no longer needed. ridiculous. they should have put any requests for evidence on hold the moment Biden submitted the review. our RFE came after that and before it was taken away as a requirement

I sent in my i944 feb 18 Usps delivered it March 4th haven’t got a notice I just check the money orders they were cash out just waiting to see the notice
