RFE for Refugee Travel Doc for an Asylee!!!
I just got a message saying that USCIS is sending a REF for my travel document, anyone has had the same experience?
Last time they even expedite the first one I got. 🙄

@Evita B did you send your OLD RTD back to them?that’s how you supposed to do. they CAN NOT issue a new one until you send them your Old one. sometimes they forget.

@God Bless America most likely asking for OLD RTD….also i-131 form has been changed since 2024, so it could be that.

@Evita B yes, 99%… the role is your old RTD has to be EXPIRED and surrender for new one to arrive… it’s a 50/50 shot if they will rfe it, in your case they probably did! keep us posted

Hi, I just got the RFE they just want proof that I was here in the US when I requested my travel document.
Getting the package ready with all the proof for them.
I just have one question in the second page it says “please check the appropriate box regarding if there is a new Form G-28. I sent this form myself. Do I have to fill out a form with the attorney that is helping me with my Green card process? or Do I just leave it blank?
