RFE for both new (i-485) and old (i-485) in abeyance
Hey Fam,
So my VAWA was approved in June and today i saw status change to RFE sent to both my new i-485 which i filed with my VAWA and an RFE for my old i-485 file which my attorney requested to hold in Abeyance 5 years back.
Is this normal?
My new i -485 was transferred to NBC few days after my VAWA approval.

unfortunately their system is not perfect so they dont even probably see you have two 485 I think better to send rfe to new one and call them tell them about it

Yes it’s normal if RFE was placed on your Alien number it will go to both case you have pending just like they approved my i360 and next day approved my i130 that’s pending over 6 years 😂

@Ena 22 where did they tell you to send your medicals? i was reading somebody said for his/her RFE it said to mail it to his/her local office.

@leo lance it depends on where you case is. some cases like mine are at NBC, so I sent it to NBC. some cases are at local office. your Medical RFE should tell you where to send medical to.

@Ena 22 i got my RFE for medicals today from my lawyer. it says return it to less summit MO, i believe that is NBC...does NBC order green cards? or schedule an interviews?
