I Just got the RFE letter, omg they are asking for so much

what are they asking about if you don’t mind I’m still waiting on my mine

They are asking for proof of a bank account, pictures, flight tickets, letters from 2 people that we know and they need to be notarized, proof of a venue or any reservation for the wedding and a letter asking how we met which I sent. they are also asking for the passports and some other stuff

Yes, is two pages asking for proof that we are really a couple, I can't send them proof of a venue or a court appointment to get married when we aren't even approved.

Lately they’ve been sending a lot of RFE. Proof of venue is something most people don’t even send. if they are asking for such evidence most people will get RFE.

I’m still waiting for mine to arrive in the mailbox. I feel like I have send everything they asked for why RFE after 14 months of wait. I’m very anxious about what they will ask me

I’m telling this people it doesn’t make no sense I called them yesterday they told me to submit an e request which I did and I ask the agent what’s in my RFE letter she said she can’t see it she doesn’t know and that was the end of the conversation

and when I submitted my e request it said they will get back to me July 5th

When you got your notice did it say that if you don't get your letter by such a day to contact them?

I haven't submitted yet, I'm still gathering some info and pictures, I just don't know what type of proof to give them for the wedding if we are not even approved, we just want to do something very small with the family, plus we don't want a lot of to people to know that we are going through this process.

me too actually I was thinking to go to the religious place to ask if he can do something for me to tell them he will be the one to marry us

I was just thinking to do a letter telling them that since we are not approved, we can't have a reservation for a venue or an appointment to go to court and get marry we can't give them proof of that, hopefully that doesn't affect the case.

Just waiting for the pictures to arrive. FYI any written document from you or your fiancé does not need to be notarized and for the bona fide you and your fiancé and can write a letter, I spoke with a lawyer and that's what he told me.

yes I know I still did it I notorize mine and he did his too just in case. okay so about the bona fide you are writing another intent to marry a long one or what? because I did write one me and my fiancé before but it was short

for the bona fide just try to add as much details as you can, I saw a lot of samples online and they were not that long just explaing that you guys are getting marry within the 90 days and that he's not married in his country

I sent it last week and they just received it yesterday, they were running late with the package I was so nervous, I thought USPS lost it

@A E @N M did uscis update your status saying your package was received or just through usps tracking, I sent my RFE response last week Tuesday and it was delivered next day but uscis is yet to acknowledge that they received it

I send in my mine on Friday the 24th of June one day shipping uscis received it Saturday the 25 of June. USCIS send me a message they received my réponse Monday 27th of June

that’s what I did when I didn’t receive my RFE in the mailbox I called the number and I said “info pass” I talked someone to email me my RFE

+1-800-375-5283 do not enter your case number otherwise you won't be able to talk with a person, just keep saying process info until you get to talk to a person

I called them today and told them that my fiance passport will expire at the beginning of next year and that if it was okay for him to renew it and she the officer said to give her a moment to review my case and then she said that they received my response to the RFE on the 13th and as of yesterday the 21st my case was approved, and I told her it doesn't say anything on my account and she said that if I don't receive a notice by the end of the month to call them back and a few minutes after the call they updated my account.

so your réponse to the RFE is June 13th or July 13th

i gave m’y answer June 27th

July 13th they entered my response

i send it to them June 24 they entered my response June 27

you are so lucky less than a week approval

William Earle, what they asked me and other people here was a intent to marry letter, bona-fide, photos, travel itinerary, affidavit from 2 people that knows about the relationship ect..

travel itinerary is receipts of tickets online too? and how long did they take I’ve heard if you are quick to respond they’ll be quick too?

why are they asking for bank accounts so early I don’t Ming but this just delays the petition if they would ask that in the beginning would be best

They don't ask for bank account, for the travel itinerary is to prove that you have visited your fiance that you can print from your email or if you and your fiance traveled to another country together you can send proof of that too

it takes 3-4 weeks to get welcome letter I’ve heard but want to call just in case I’ve heard USCIS not transferring cases and forgetting to do so

I been waiting for almost 2 months to get the Welcome Letter, NVC has my case already but they need to add it to their system

it also depends on where is your case going like if there is to much backlog or no open slots for interview you are going to be on hold till something opens I guess they’ve said

Iam still waiting on my wonderful lawyers to send my response to USCIS for the RFE
