After getting the email that they have taken action on my account yesterday, this morning I got another email requesting initial evidence but I don’t have anything in my account stating what they need from me has anyone been through this?

Don't worry, I also sent initial evidence. I didn't translate my marriage certificate at first. It took me 2 months but your case can be before to be approved after that. Don't forget that God's timing is perfect!
