congratulations. how much time took by the court for reopen your case and then how much time taken to get approval for I485. I am on the same boat but I am waitng for I 130approval notice. my removal proceeding case is in NJ.

thank you, all the court did is to terminate my removal proceedings. and I reopened my i485 with USCIS. it took 7 months to terminate my case( but it’s little faster right). 4 weeks to reopen with USCIS and 4 months for USCIS to schedule interview and adjust my status.

my case exactly like yours mine i-130 got Approved September 1th 2021 but my i-485 says interview was scheduled since MArch 11th 2021 however in April 2022 they sent my notice of administrative closure tell now nothing and I don’t know what to do my i-485 been pending for over 1.5 year im in newark field too

Moamen khalifa you should call the court and give them your A-number. They’re going to let you know if you’re on removal proceedings. If so as your lawyer to terminate it.

check urself first, on EOIR case status. if terminated get a copy of judge’s order, make an infopass appointment and submit those documents in person.

on EOIR sill says this case is pending

if Eoir says ur case is still pending not dismissed, then there is no way u can reopen ur i485 application

that’s crazy I thought the judge would not take this long.. DHS only took 6 days

whoever wants to reopen administrative closed i485, contact uscis, say infopass, then system will connect u to the live representative. then tell representative u need an infopass appointment to submit court order in person. And u want decision on ur case. then the representative will give u service item number. and within 30 days u should receive a call from tier two officer and u need to explain the same thing again, like what situation u in now. and the officer should schedule u infopass appointment at ur local fied office. then u should bring termination letter along with i485 to the local field office. i hope this helps. and good luck all

keep trying buddy, i had same situation like u. after couple of tries, they did scheduled me for an appointment. when officer calls u, ask them to send confirmation on email right away.

I called to get an infopass appointment they said withen 30days the time pass and no one called and I did another one still now one called me so 2 month passes and I can’t get infopass appointment
