after your i130 is approved you can send that to the court and terminate the proceedings, when you get the termination letter from IJ take that to USCIS field office so they can adjudicate your i485. USCIS will just put your i485 as administratively closed for now. you can either adjust with the Judge too if you want.

I didn’t know that the fact that you’re in removal proceedings makes you wait longer for I-130 to be approved 🤔

yes they approved my I-765 after I filed I-485 marriage based last feb 2022. I also have my other working permit from asylum case that’s expired next month

tas : asylum case. my case is with immigration judge

if the question above was addressed to me, then: asylum case has been referred to immigration court (which automatically puts into the removal proceedings)

Asked my lawyer about PD and he said that “I better file for TPS (since it’s faster) Also, the PD request is discretionary and there’s a chance the government’s attorney will deny our request.” How come that TPS is faster? Based on what people discuss here, it takes approximately a year to get it approved. Can someone explain it to me?

i can’t do TPS. PD is more sense to my case. and if it’s not approved, my I-130 is better approved tomorrow LOL

approved on spot for I-130. but IO didn’t give me any paper. she told me 3 times ur case is approved. i -485 will be administrative closed until my removal proceeding terminated ( I need the approval letter to terminate my removal proceeding) the IO took all my extra evidences 500 pages LOLOLOL the IO told me I wish I can approved ur I-485 if u are not in removal proceeding

No the IO didn’t conduct any I-485 question. it’s only I-130 even though my interview letter is for I-485

@llya if ur I-130 still pending during ur master hearing, the judge will grant u continuance to give I-130 room to approve.

Ilya : all I can say is get ur I-130 approved. that’s the key. if you have lawyer, get ur lawyer to file for PD as well if ur case is non priority. if ur removal proceeding is terminate by the judge, u can file I-485 without waiting for ur i-130 to be approve

Potomac. i think USCIS will not process i-130 if you are in removal proceeding. they will let ur case sit in the dust on purpose

@domino lol they will process ur i130 In removal proceedings but it just requires more knowledgeable officers to handle that and they might have 2-3 of those officers in one FO

I’m in Potomac as well. 6 month in “actively reviewing”. So what you’re saying is that it will never get approved until I’ll take some additional actions?
