Rejection of i-765 c09 category
Hi,
I submitted my i-765 and the i-485, but I received a rejection letter because I did not pay the fee for the i-765. I thought the i-765 is waived when you filed i-765 and i-485 together.
Did anyone else have the same issue?

Weird. Assuming there is nothing else wrong on your part, try resubmitting and adding the following with your submission:
-page saying the following in extra big letters:
Wrongly Rejected — Requesting Supervisor Review
-cover letter explaining that you previously submitted, it was wrongly rejected, and USCIS should accept this resubmission and give it the receipt date for the first submission (i.e. asking USCIS to treat it like the first submission was accepted. Not sure how long ago you submitted, but with USCIS, every day counts)
-receipt notice for I-485 to show you have a 485 pending.
-printout of USCIS’ website showing no filing fee when submitted based on a pending 485

Thank you all for the responses! It seems that I missed the biometric fee. So I resubmitted and waiting to see what happens! Hopefully, this works!
