all you have to do is to call your congressman in your state and ask help and they will help you to expedite your case

I got approved at 47 months

mine is 42 months now

processing time is 45 months you are still within time frame

@Ms.Happy Sabbath :) I tried this several times and no use thats the truth.

it’s the ONLY way… I did it and got approved my VAWA…. just do it. you r not doing anything wrong….

@Nick N are you talking about Mandamus or Congressman? I am 46 months now. Contacted my congressman recently but planning on filing Mandamus.

I’ve contacted my congressman and they told him a decision will be made on the next 60 days and it’s been 64 days and still nothing.

Is filing a Mandamus easy and doable if we do it without a lawyer?

Mary V I did Mandamus. I did congress before but didn’t work out hence had to go Mandamus.

@Nick N how long after filing mandamus did they make decision on your case? my case is at 50 months now and i plan on filing mandamus soon

@King 001 once ur lawyer files Mandamus, you get 2 months to hear from USCIS, I recieced RFE and then I replied and less than a month my VAWA approved and received my EAD C31 Card.

@Sam sam , if you file Mandamus , you will lose the case and waste your money & time bcos, you are less than 45.5months of USCIS Processing Time. I am almost 42months and still patiently waiting until after 46months. They are making decisions on March & April 2022 right now. For your information, everyone that files VAWA are having similar depressive situations like yours . Hence, you are not alone
