receipt
hi I’m inquiring for my dad. he submitted his I-130 I-485 and I-765 along with my three siblings on a marriage base application. his lawyer submitted everything about a year ago and he still hasn’t received a receipt number. his lawyers keeps saying is normal because of the high wait time but it just seems very very long for a receipt. is there anyone that could shed some light on this? please

A year? This isn’t normal. I hope the lawyers actually submitted those documents

check with the lawyer I bet you he didn't submit your dad's documents. it's still sitting; n his desk.i gave a lawyer my documents in 2020 and if I didn't keep calling and visiting the lawyers office it wouldn't be submitted when he did and that is mid 2021

@Natalia Jiménez That's not normal you can call USCIS and tell them that they never gave you the receipt number because when they receive the package my receipt number arrived at 3 days and because it was already the weekend

same thing happened to me you need to get a new lawyer and send the case

sadly he never submitted any documents. you have to inquire right away because it might mess up their status in the US

yo Mande mi paquete mayo 2025 en agosto tuve mi entrevista y solo me an aprobado la i130 y ya tengo mi permiso de trabajo
