@E E that does make sense. my lawyer moved offices so I guess they updated the address with Uscis

@Nanaakyaa Obaa Amen to that. I’m okay with 3 years though cos that seems to be the norm for now and I don’t want to set myself up for disappointment. I rarely even like to look at the updates cos it gets me so depressed 😞

I submitted my vawa application I360 since April 2022 and after about 60 days, I got a notice of receipt which states my receipt date as April 2020. A few months later, I got an updated that a notice was returned because USCIS couldn't deliver it. I called USCIS to know what the notice was about and they said it was probably sent in error. I never heard anything else from them nor say any other updates. No finger print, no prima facie or anything. Then on April 1st 2025, I received an update that uscis has received my correspondence and is working on it. 2 weeks later, I received a letter with notice of receipt and this time the date showed April 2022. Why was it so? what could have gone wrong? What should I be expecting at this point? do I have to start waiting another 3-4 years vawa timeline again? I'm worried. They don't give any information when you call them.
