I looked at the vawa data last week. The processing time went crazy - now it's 51 months (you should be up next since you are close to the processing time) because there were a huge amount of vawa filers started in 2022. it was like 22k in total in 2022, 50k in 2023, 70k in 2024. In 2025, they just adjudicated 20k cases in total for the three vawa categories. They slowed down in the 2026 first quarter because of stricter scrunity to detect VAWA fraud. I really hope that all those attorneys please not to recommend people to file for VAWA if they don't really qualify for. It really clogged up the system. it's really wasting our time.

I’m in the same situation. I asked my congressman for help, and they have already sent two inquiries to USCIS on my behalf. I’ve been waiting for a response for two months now.

Writ of mandamus will be your last resort. But please ask for a second opinion before you file one. I have the same issue. I already contacted the congressman but I have no response from them either. Obviously, humanitarian filers are not their priority.
