Question about Fafsa with Vawa
Hi brothers and sisters. I have a question if anyone knows .
I cant work my preexisting career and i got bad financially, i want to start a college or a school for a new diploma or degree for new credentials and ask fafsa but I'm on my 6th prima facie already .
is it a good time to do it or better to wait for GC?
i mean my worrie is if the get approve my Fassa with the prima facie and then with an upcoming approved vawa /waiting for gc , I will still be able to have or renew NY Fafsa for second semester? because someone here said that they do not approve Fafsa with approved vawa but only with prima facie or GC.

3 years of VAWA application and didn’t even receive a single prima facie. lucky you.

that could be true because you cannot apply for fasfa with work permit. I’m in college and they didn’t even want to approve it with prima facie I had to go to many different people in college to help me and finally they accepted it. I have 3 more semesters to go and I summitted vawa in April 2022 so we will see what happens.

@m s almost all accept if you have prima facie but some you have to show them the law, your papers and let them know

simple answer, if your primafacie is not expired, the school will accept. They don’t accept approved i360, that means nothing to them.

okay I have prima facie since Feb waiting for work permit,my question is what does prima facie good for I have not use it at all I’m in Texas,I seen here some people have it some don’t and why ?
