police clearance
I have questions. I visit to usa on b1/b2 visa. I stayed there for 1 year due to COVID-19 . I have filed extension. so question is that after my case I-130 approval do I need police clearance from usa??

my husband is not citizen. he is green card holder

@rv singh if u r in usa, you can still do aos. greencard can do aos too.

File AOS. I am LPR and my husband did this. Make sure you have a valid status when you do this (i.e. valid B1/B2 status). As long as your category is current on the visa bulletin, you can file I-485. Make sure to file I-131 and I-765 if you want/need to travel outside US and work in the US while waiting for AOS.

oh really I did not know that . we called lawyer he said that my husband has to filed for citizenship and then he can filed AOS .
