Welcome Letter from the NVC can take anywhere between 1-60 days to be sent to you.

@sweet face you never get your welcome letter for 5 months??

5 months is a bit much. i received mine under a week. plus, per your approval letter, uscis advices you to contact NVC if you don’t hear anything within 45 days.

welcome letter is typically within a week or two. if you haven’t recieved it I would definitely call nvc. 5 month seems extreme

@Queen Bee yes. I called couple of times but told I’m still within the time frame. And that it takes between 10-38 months for a decision to be made. it’s not funny at all. unnecessary depression and stress. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

@Queen Bee wow! That was quick, that must mean you are a IR1/CR1. Congratulations! Your Welcome Letter should come between 1-60 days. It can take up to 2 months for USCIS to transfer your case to the NVC

yes I'm a citizen filing for my spouse overseas

our 130 was approved over 3 weeks ago. still no welcome letter…
