@UGH! ! W2 is not required, only tax transcripts so relax now

send tax transcript and 1040. It is better to send w2 but not having it can't make any issues.

i am confused what the difference between a tax transcript and 1040 are

@UGH! ! tax transcript is what you get when you sign on to the irs website and the 1040 is what you get after filing the taxes. it shows what you filed

@UGH! ! it’s on NVC website. if you go the Immigrants Visa Process -> Step 5 (Financial Documents) -> Obtain Financial Evidence. it says tax transcript( NVC strongly recommends to submit tax transcript because it has everything….)

@UGH!! on the 1040 can you file anything to show more income or you can play with them to show more gross income and you can download the 1040 immediately after filled? so you will have a proof of fake income document which is not your real income. However, you will get a letter from the IRS for proof of it later. But you can submit that fake documents to Uscis. That's why Uscis wants a tax transcript. which is the real document that is accepted, checked, approved, and uploaded to the IRS website.
