Do you get a text or email of approval?

I got paper mail after a week. of approval..

from uscis .. and got email from nvc today saying they send it to us embassy Nepal

i know you get a paper mail after a week. but at the day you get approve do you get a email or text msg?

I saw online in uscis account.. I didn’t got text or email..

congratulations! that was fast! my knowledge is that the case will stay at the nvc about 3 months till they send it to the local embassy!

You might have to wait anywhere between 1 week - 3 months. It all depends how fast your embassy is working.

embassy is open for interviews and I emailed embassy in Nepal and they helped me out .. there’s so many appointments available right now so.. maybe I’m lucky ☺️

I am glad you’re lucky, hopefully you get an interview soon. Do you have all of your legal (personal documents) ready, just in case if you get a fast interview date? Have you checked the requirements?

I just need police report from Qatar.. I applied 3 month ago.. they told me I have to wait 3 month to get it and I haven't got it yet... I called Qatar embassy in my country and they don't know when will I get it 😥😥 that's the only problem I have .. other I'm ready ...

do you know fastest way to get Qatar police clearance??

Whenever you have your appointment, you will need to do your medical exam, but be carefully because you can only go to a physician that your embassy approves.

I haven’t done anything.. and yeah I know about medical thing … I’m waiting for welcome letter once I get it I will start doing all .. thank you so much ..

For the taxes, you need to the 2020 ones. If it passes the current filing period of April 18, you will need to take the 2021 taxes.

If the police clearance is in language of the beneficiary’s country, you do not need to get the clearance in English. The language in my fiancé’s country is Spanish.. he took it in Spanish. The consulate at the interview accepted it.

@AN we need bank details and statement I guess .from employer we need employments verification letter from work .. that's all I know from my side

You would use 2020. If the interview is on or after April 18, then you use the 2021 taxes.

It is the 2020 taxes of the peptitioner in the US, not the beneficiary in the foreign country. So, if the petitioner does not meet the income threshold, they need to have a co-sponsor.

If there is a co-sponsor, you use their taxes, bank statements, and letter from their employer.

I’m petitioner and I was in Nepal for 1 year because of lockdown… and corona . so but I’m working now which is enough to cover it .. isn’t that’s what they looked for ?? I’m working I make enough ..

I have 2018,2019,2020,2021 all but 2020 taxes is not enough coz k haven’t worked

If your appointment is before April 18, you will use the 2020 taxes. If you did not make enough money that year, you will need a co-sponsor. If your interview is after April 18, you will use the 2021 taxes. But keep in mind that you might still use the 2020 taxes because last year, the tax period was extended until May/June.

coz my fiancé doesn’t know much about the process and he doesn’t know much English.. like he don’t know anything I’m doing everything myself..

6 month basnu vayeko ho vani chai chayexa vana 1-5 month ko chayendaina.. Mero sir ko pani 4 year vayo Nepal baseko but they still needed in my case and mine is fiancé visa not married based so I have no idea about married based 😊

@jessica in 2020 I was out of country and coz of Covid I didn’t work. but I have 2019 which I have earn 17 k above .. so I need co sponsor..

don’t they check what I’m eating now?? I wasn’t in. the country no one 2020 I have no earnings. I have from 2018, 2019, and now I’m earning enough..

If you didn’t work in 2020, you will need a joint sponsor. If you use one, only the joint sponsor does the I-134. You do not need to do one.

I worked 1 month only in 2020.. and now I’m looking at I-134 they haven’t ask how much I made on 2020… they just asking how much I’m making now.. how much saving I have. cash.. that’s all so .. that’s why I got confused and thanks you for helping

It’s everything for 2020. I just helped my fiancé with his interview. That is why I am telling you all this information.

nvc ma case process huna kati time lagxa anyone know that??? how much time do nvc take to schedule interview?????

If you applied for a K-1, NVC sends you a welcome letter whenever your case is sent to the embassy. From there, you receive a “ready” on the CEAC website, meaning that you can complete the DS-160 and schedule your interview. The NVC process depends because it is all about your embassy and if they are in a backlog or fast with their cases.
