NVC
hello,
my husband (in India) and i am the US citizen, we completed the NVC application (DS260) and submitted the documents includng the police clearnace on October 19th. i heard NVC usually doesn’t take that long to get things ready and give the interview time. just curious to know how long should I wait to hear back from NVC?

i130 approved sept 23, 2025

@annamma ouseph Did you get DQ email ? after that they will work with embassy to schedule the interview. Currently they are working on July. You can check here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/iv-wait-times.html

NVC approved our case on Oct 29th and we are still waiting for the IL. @Sunny P

@annamma ouseph I got approved in July 30/25 and got letter on 10/28/25 and interview date was December/02/25

@Abc Singh no not yet. IV scheduling tool updated to October and i know people DQd till Ovtober 9th got IL. i am still waiting, hopefully this month will get IL.
