NVC - POLICE CERTIFICATE❓
NVC requested my police certificate from Portugal and the United Kingdom in the documents. However, I was in Portugal for less than 3 months as a tourist and in the UK for almost 6 months as a tourist and studying English. In other words, I spent less than a year in these countries. Therefore, there is no information available in these countries about my police certificate. What to do in these cases? Has anyone ever experienced this?
I just could send my police certificate from Brazil so far.

A Police Clearance is necessary if you resided in a particular country as a legal resident for more than six months.

@jaya raya I was there in 2022. I am applying from outside the US, I am in my home country (Brazil).

@jaya raya I checked the rules online and it seems like they just need if I was living there for more than 01 year.

@Nina Barry I sent the police certificate from my country of origin where I live, Brazil. I sent the federal and state certificate. And the certificates from Portugal and UK I marked as unavailable and I sent the justification. I submitted all the documents last week and I am waiting for a response.
