nta while vawa pending
received a nta and was put in removal proceedings. my vawa is pending since December 2023 received 3-4 prima facia. have ead and ap also. the nta is for the overstay i did while my old marriage 130 was denied.
any advice?

after denied you would have 33 days that doesn’t make you overstay tho unless you did not send them in 33 days get a lawyer

@a k get a lawyer. there is a way to handle this the lawyer may file cancellation of removal if it’s been more than 3 years under vawa. but one thing for sure you must show up on your master calendar do not miss this date.

They stated that if other applicants were denied and you file vawa that they would deny it unfortunately sigh

Guys, I am also in same situation, I have pending i918 with Ead for 4 years and deferred action based on U visa filed in nov 2018 and then filed june 2024 VAWA and got 5 years EAD & parole and 3 prima facie, judge denied motion to terminate for overstay, judge asked to submit all form of reliefs within 60 days , attorney filing i485 in court, do I need to file vawa base cancellation of removal? pls help what to do in this scenario? is there anyway connect?
