yes. it is strange that they requested RFE -> approved the case with out getting the response for the RFE

in my case I sent my rfe response through mail in June and got the notification today about request for initial evidence

you mean “Response for RFE was received notofication”? or one more another RFE

the first rfe was not in the case status it was medical but never updated to request neither received. This time it updated to RFIE

@Vlad they never acknowledged receipt of the RFE even though I sent it to them. It went straight ahead for approval instead.

that’s what happened to mine as well and in some other forumers (i think it depends on the field office). my online status never showed they sent an rfe and when they received it. Mine went straight to new card is being produced after two weeks of sending my medical rfe.
