i have been seeing this trend and was hopeful it was going to be the same for me. but it didn’t. and today I called the USCIS hotline, waited for over 60mins only to speak with a very rude rep. congratulations to all the lucky 2%.

@Ally when did you file? and what’s your category?

i filed I-140 in January 2021, got a NOID which I replied to and then received approval message in Nov 2021. I later filed i-485, 765 and 131 concurrently. Submitted all documents incl medical to avoid further RFE. Submitted appeals for expedite, by myself and also congressman (that never left their office) and just did my biometrics this month.

lol @ally. I was hoping the same as well. I did my bio on March 18. I have a F1 opt EAD though that expires the end of June. wondering if that’s why they ignored me. my PD is Feb 10.

@Alisa F what is F1? I submitted expedited request and mentioned I have an employment offer that will expire in May.

@Ally I am a student on a F1 visa. I graduated and applied for the 1 yr post grad opt. That EAD expires in june. Got married in December with my USC husband and I filed in feb. I did an expedite early April too but no response yet.

I don’t think that’s the case at all. Most persons say it’s the field office. Some are quicker than others. I have no clue how they decide 😂

To improve efficiency and reduce Form I-765 processing times for Form I-485 applicants, USCIS may decouple Forms I-765 from Forms I-131 filed at the same time. Effective Feb. 1, 2022, when possible, USCIS will adjudicate the request for employment authorization first and, if it is approved, we will issue an Employment Authorization Document without any notation about advanced parole. We will adjudicate the Form I-131 separately and, if it is approved, we will issue an Advance Parole Document.

oh I bet. they actually told me I didn’t pay for the I-131 when it was supposed to be waived due to concurrent filing. so I had to re-file my I-131, and submitted my receipt notice for I-485 which confirmed my fee payment

😂 omg smh. Its gets messy. hey I see ppl who applied after me, got rfe, responded and still got ead quicker 😂. I didn’t get an rfe so I am like what is going on 😂

i genuinely don’t care if my I-485 is going to be approved in another year or two at this point, I just need the EAD to be approved. the whole process is so stupid, it’s not even funny.

Yea, this makes absolutely no sense to me. Congrats but this is absolutely not fair, getting sick and tired of how USCIS processes their cases. C9 should be all in order no excuses.

Definitely calling USCIS tomorrow and getting in touch with a higher up, they're going to hear it from me.

I got my ead, but no ssn. I went to the office and they checked the system and told me to apply and I did. I’m waiting for 2-3 weeks to get it

I got my EAD approval notice just now. 6 hours after biometrics

@n p santhi che… lmaooo. I’m observing for some people interview got scheduled 3-7 weeks after ead arrived. I believe it’s quicker if your case number starts with IOE as it’s from of electronic processing. but who know what’s the logic behind

i fit all those criteria, IOE and all, but yeah, who knows how it works…the best I can do is sitting here and waiting lol I wonder how many times do people check their case status a day 😆
