i485j is only filed when you receive rfe/ interview

i changed and I don't have problems.whit my case, I have 140.aproved more like 180 days, and my case is good, just I recommend you change the lawyer too because you case is new employer and new lawyer, just I think you need you EAD approved too

@m j yes I will change to the new lawyer but I don’t know if I can do it myself since my company filled almost of it! all I need rn is fill my information in.

no you dont need a lawyer to file for I-485J. It is super easy to do, only like 1-2 pages with mostly file out the new employer information. You dont need a new EAD. Just print the I-485J on uscis website, fill it out and keep it with you just incase they rfe or interview you. Then, you can present that I-485J if you have an interview. No need to submit it unless they request it via rfe. Submitting I-485J would only slow your case down from my research. Chúc may mắn bạn.

How do you find a sponsor to do the portability? I've asked many companies, but most of them don't accept to do the portability for me even though it's extremely simple.

@yellow banana 🍌 ko cần giống y nhưng mà job description phải match ấy. vi du nếu như bạn làm fast food thì ko thể chuyển qua hãng được.
