my dad was in a similar situation years ago, the wife would get mad and hold him wanting his green card over his head, one minute she wanna help him and next she’s saying she’s not helping him, eventually he left, a week before his interview, he was denied because of that but reapplied when he met his new wife, the officer asked why he abandoned his previous case and he told him, the officer was understanding..

@R.C. what I have come to understand is a denial is not a death sentence it's only a way to tidy up any concern you had in your first marriage

@ R.C did you suied Uscis or you just allowed them to take their time? because I am in the same situation with you right now. I have filed since 2019 and I have done everything that required of me but I still heard back from them. last time that I made infoPass they sent letter to me that my case is still pending review.

@if you have it.. I just let them take their time, didn’t expedite anything or inquire about it, cause my case was a bit complicated, let them take their time if u can wait

ok … yes mine too.. the first marriage threated me badly then i left after interview. so she withdrew the case. and after she withdrew the case then Uscis now wrote letter to me that my case was denied because they believe that, my first divorce papers that I brought from my country was fake. so that was their after the woman here withdrew the case. so when I re- married my lawyer said I should go and get another divorce from here and that nullified the one Uscis called fake and I did that I submitted them it. my new wife is a real nice woman’s and my i130 is approved already. I have gotten two work permit from my new marriage and I have just submitted renewal of the third one. hopefully they will answer before I get this third one.

@ R.C I am just going to let them do their things. today makes 497 day that I submitted my application. I know that God who answered your prayers with answers mime one day.

The wait is absolutely terrible ! 47 days after 2nd interview and no response, sent almost 2 service requests they keep saying pending and now I n my spouse are having issues, it’s gotten so bad and toxic.

@JB I believe the white sheet they gave u after the interview stated how long the review will take if you don't hear from them after then you can contact them. in my case it stated 120days. 4mths
